Hello and welcome, my name is Evelyn and I am a counsellor offering counselling support from my private practice in Biggar, South Lanarkshire. I offer counselling in person, online, by telephone, text & email. I am a registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and have worked for a number of charities including Crossreach Perinatal Service, Liber8 Alcohol & Drug Addiction Service, Projekt42 and MECOPP Minority & Ethnic Carers Project.
My core training is in the Person- Centred approach and also integrate elements of other therapeutic approaches into the work if helpful for clients. I’ve worked within community arts, wellbeing and mental health services for over thirty years and can offer elements of creative writing and artwork into the therapeutic work if supportive of the client’s process.
